- Install server, setup RAID configuration to avoid hard drive errors, From RAID0, RAID1, RAID5, RAID10 depend on the requirement of the redundant system, install operating system for server.
- Install server/ network services such as ADs, DC, DNS, DHCP connection settings of servers, data synchronization, service synchronization, system fault tolerance in case one server is down.
- Create user accounts and groups, OUs, setup AD policy for users and group, install shared folders, data access permissions, map network drive to shared folder for faster access.
- Install software/ applications on server, connect client software from workstations to the server for sharing and consolidating.
- Install backup server for backup/restore operating system, data, applications.
